Peter Gayfer

17 years of physiotherapy practice and a Masters Degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy give Peter a wealth of knowledge and experience to call upon.
Peter has predominantly practised in country Victoria with a spell in both Ireland and the United Kingdom. He has taken the opportunity to work with professional athletes from Rugby Union, Athletics, Baseball and Softball as well as local, VFL, and state under age football clubs.
Peter was always bound to work long-term in the country and as such has taken on continuing education to cover the broad spectrum of musculoskeletal injuries. He, along with rest of the Pinnacle team, prides himself on aiming to achieve quick changes to your musculoskeletal dysfunction through great manual intervention in combination with a focus upon self management and appropriate exercises for rehabilitation.

Geoff van Gameren
Consulting in Dromana and Mornington
Geoff grew up on the Mornington Peninsula, graduated from Melbourne University and has extensive experience in private practice physiotherapy. He completed the level 3 Sports Physiotherapy Course in February 2011 at the Australian Institute of Sport, Canberra.
He has many years experience at the SEABL senior basketball level and maintains a particular interest in basketball injuries.
Other areas of interest are knee, shoulder, neck and back injuries, tendonopathies (tendon injuries) and cervicogenic headaches.
He also has an extensive Occupational Health and Workplace background.
Geoff is available for consultation at both the Mornington and Dromana clinics.

Alyssa Beckley
Consulting in Mornington
Graduating in 1997 from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Alyssa has worked on the Mornington Peninsula for the past 7 years, assisting patient of all ages, abilities and fitness levels to achieve their goals. Alyssa has extensive experience in musculo-skeletal injuries and takes a holistic, hands-on approach to all her treatments.
Alyssa spent 12 years in the UK prior to this in both the public hospital system and private practice settings. During this time she furthered her studies in Acupuncture for Physiotherapists, Dry Needling, Clinical Pilates and Yoga, combining these skills to maximise the recovery of her patients.
In addition to work at Pinnacle and with a passion for ongoing education, she recently completed further tertiary-level study in Health Promotion.
Alyssa is passionate in assisting all clients in achieving their goals and to maximise their potential to improve the quality of their lives.

Alana McDonald
Consulting in Mornington and Dromana
Alana grew up on a farm in Horsham, country Victoria and moved to Frankston to complete her Physiotherapy degree at Monash University. She has lived and worked in Mornington in Private practice combining Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates for the past 9 years. Alana has completed further training in Clinical Pilates(DMA), dry needling, agility training and managing tissue loading in sport amongst other things. She has had experience working with neck and headache (cervicogenic headache), spinal issue and surgery, ankle, knee, hip and shoulder injuries. Exercise rehabilitation is a very large part of her work at the clinic, taking the Pinnacle Activate classes as well as 1:1 clients.
Alana prides herself in her passion and dedication for her work and clients and practical way addressing issues and also enjoys problem solving injuries/issues. She also enjoys using hands on treatment to help complement exercises and stretches to get the best for each client,

Guy Agutter
Consulting in Mornington and Dromana
Guy completed a Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science before completing his Master of Physiotherapy Practice at Latrobe University in 2017.
During his studies he was employed as a Personal Trainer and a Sports Trainer, both which have helped him develop his manual skills and extensive exercise prescription knowledge to support his patients through all stages of their rehabilitation. This strength and conditioning passion has continued to grow, with him currently completing further postgraduate studies in Strength and Conditioning at Edith Cowan University. Outside of the clinic, Guy has experience working for numerous sporting teams across Victoria. He has also begun involvement in research studies through Latrobe University investigating exercise protocols to reduce the risk of ACL injury in female AFL players.
Guy uses his knowledge to support all patients achieve their goals and utilises several techniques including exercise prescription, manual therapy, dry needling, taping and education to get the best outcomes he possibly can.

Amelia Abley

Amelia graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011.
Amelia has enjoyed working with many different types of patient groups in a variety of settings including in private practice, with children who have a variety of physical and intellectual disabilities as well as with the elderly both in the community and within supported living environments.
Amelia has a keen interest in exercise as preventative medicine as well as rehabilitation. She has completed further training in Clinical Pilates both through DMA Pilates Australia and Universal Practice.
Amelia works Part Time in our Mornington Clinic.

Natalie has completed a Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University in Bundoora.
She has worked in a busy Melbourne hospital in neurological, orthopaedic, and geriatric rehabilitation and has also worked as a sports trainer for various football teams across Melbourne. She is passionate about Pilates and has completed further training in clinical Pilates through Universal Practice.
Exercise rehabilitation and clinical Pilates is a large part of her work at the clinic, taking the Pinnacle Dynamic classes as well as 1:1 clients. She is also able to complete home visits around the Mornington Peninsula area.
Natalie has a keen interest in post-surgical rehabilitation and is committed to helping clients recover and regain their mobility and strength after surgery.

Kalen Bird

Kalen graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). Being involved in sports from a young age and assisting local sporting teams, Kalen has a keen interest in assessing and managing sports related injuries and making the rehabilitation pathway efficient and enjoyable. Other areas of interest for Kalen include low and upper back pain, knee and ankle injuries, and pre/post operative management. Kalen also enjoys running individualised AgeWell classes on Mondays and Thursdays for patients.

Abhijith Nair

Abi completed his Master of Physiotherapy Practice in India graduating in 2018.
Abi has worked in private practice since graduating in Oman and India before relocating to Australia. Abi strongly uses exercise prescription and manual techniques as effective tools for the best outcome for recovery and to prevent further injuries.
Abi enjoys running individualised AgeWell classes in the Dromana Clinic and has also completed clinical Pilates training in India and Australia.

Rebecca Bruce

Rebecca moved to Melbourne from Canada after completing her Bachelor’s Degree, to pursue her physiotherapy career. She completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2013. Rebecca developed a special interest in pre and post natal women and completed her post graduate certificate in Pelvic Floor in 2017 enabling her to cover all aspects of Pelvic Health physiotherapy for men, women, gender diverse and transgender.
Rebecca covers all pelvic health physiotherapy needs including bowel, bladder incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, pre and post natal pelvic floor and musculoskeletal concerns.

Kate has worked as a Myotherapist and Clinical Pilates Instructor for over 16 years. She decided to study Myotherapy after her own injury, surgery and rehabilitation after dancing from childhood to adulthood.
Kate loves working with all bodies, assisting and empowering people to maintain or return to optimal function.

Liam Coghlan

Liam grew up playing football and basketball before completing his Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University.
During his studies Liam worked as a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach and developed a wealth of experience working alongside sporting teams, group exercise classes and individuals of all age groups.
Liam is a firm believer that ‘Exercise is Medicine’ and that resistance training should be a habit for life. You are never too old to learn how to train in the gym in order to develop strength and endurance to improve the quality of your life.
He specialises in helping patients with musculoskeletal injuries, osteoarthritis, low back pain, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, stroke, cardiovascular conditions and mental health.
